Party & Social

Party of five, shared XP, safe trades, live chat.

An MMO lives or dies on its social glue. Pirate Royalty ships with the essentials done right: parties that share the kill, trades that can't be hijacked, chat that reaches the whole world, and a block button that actually blocks.

Party up to five

Group with up to four others and kill XP and quest credit share to everyone in the party who's in the same zone and nearby — scaled by a published curve so a full party still pulls its weight. Soloing isn't punished; partying is simply the social way to play. You can join a party from level 7.

Invites come from the party leader and need the invitee close by and in the same zone. An invite expires after a minute if it's ignored, leadership passes on automatically if the leader leaves, and a party that drops to a single member disbands on its own.

Trade you can trust

Player-to-player trades run as a four-step handshake — negotiate, confirm, both ready up, execute — and the swap only happens once both sides have locked in. If either side edits the offer, both Ready checks reset, and a crash, full bag, or disconnect simply returns your items. No half-completed trades, no scams through a timing trick.

Chat channels

  • LocalFree chat to anyone within earshot — about a 50-meter radius around you.
  • WorldServer-wide chat to reach everyone at once.
  • TradeThe marketplace channel for buying, selling, and looking for groups.
  • WhispersDirect messages to a specific player.

A profanity filter and a small anti-spam cost on broadcast channels keep the feed clean.

Friends & block

Keep a friends list, and block anyone you'd rather not hear from. Blocking is thorough — it cuts off their whispers, friend requests, party invites, and trade invites in one move.

Guilds: not yet

Straight answer: there's no guild system yet. Parties, trade, chat, and friends are in; guilds are something we'll talk about when they're real, not before. We'd rather under-promise here than list a feature that isn't in your hands.
